There are many automatic lid-opening trash bins in the domestic market. The more advanced ones can be roughly divided into these categories:
    ① Button electric
There are usually several buttons on the trash can. One of them will open the lid electrically after pressing. After putting the trash in the trash can, one will automatically close the lid after a few seconds, and the other will need to be pressed again. The lower button bucket lid is closed. The disadvantage of this trash bin is that it actually needs to be manually contacted, but it is not the traditional design that the bucket lid is opened by force by mechanical torque, but the design is opened by electrical force by mechanical force. Only manpower is saved, and the manpower required to open the cover itself is trivial.
    ② Infrared sensor flip type.
This kind of garbage bin usually does not require human contact, and is well protected in terms of hygiene. An infrared sensor is usually installed on the top of the trash can. A person waves the arm or stays for a period of time to make the signal collected by the sensor transmitted to the central processing unit. Then the mechanical structure responds and opens the lid. Throw the garbage in again, and it will close automatically after a few seconds. But there are three disadvantages:
First, it is relatively wasteful of electricity. Once the bucket lid is pulled up, it continues to use electric power to maintain the balance of the bucket lid to maintain the lid opening angle until the action of throwing garbage is completed.
Second, the trash can itself needs to be small and practical as a home office necessity. Generally, the cross-sectional area of the entrance surface of private trash cans is not very large. People often refuse to throw in the trash in life. Several times. Flip-top trash bins have an included angle after the lid surface is raised so that a part of them can be projected into the bucket surface. Its structure reduces the actual effective area of the trash bin, which makes it more difficult for some people who throw garbage at will.
Third, the trajectory of the lid of the clamshell trash can, or the swept area, and the area where the trash is thrown into the trash can mostly overlap, and most of it overlaps with the infrared sensing area. In other words, when the bucket lid is opened, it will always stay in the infrared sensing area. Therefore, the judgment of closing the bucket lid must not be judged by whether there is still a sensing signal. Instead, by setting a time when people are expected to throw away garbage, they will automatically close. If the user needs to throw the garbage multiple times in the same time period, it will cause either the door of the trash can to be shut out, or it will have to wait for it to close, and then repeat the previous wave gesture to open the cover again. Even if the sensor can distinguish the difference between the lid and the garbage, it is not easy to re-apply the force to quickly support the lid when it falls at a certain angular acceleration and angular velocity. Opening and closing like a fan, for the garbage that is continuous but not uninterrupted, the garbage may be fanned by the cover.
